58-year-old Mary Parsh and her 27-year-old daughter Brenda were killed with a .38 caliber gun on Aug. 12, 1977, at the Parsh home on Koch Street in Cape Girardeau.

Southeast Missouri State University student Sheila Cole's body was found Nov. 17, 1977, at a roadside rest area near McClure, Ill. Her car was discovered in the parking lot of a WalMart in Cape Girardeau.
