Dan Riordan was a friend of mine, we called him Rio. I am glad to see the news media continues to inform the public when we lose one of our soldiers, especially those with close ties to home. All I can say is Dan was doing what he felt was right, it helped define him as a person of honor and integrity. I will remember him for this and the good times we shared together when we were in college. Goodbye Dan.
I am honored to have the privilege of calling Dan Riordan my friend. God didn't make a better man than Rio. He was always the first to be there for all of his troops. He inspired me to be the man I am today. I was told once that you don't need to know God's plan. You just have to have faith that he has one for all of us.
I can hear Rio telling me now that he's doing ok, and "E-train suck it up brother". I love you man.
Lt. Dan you will be missed, but never forgotten. RE
